United Way of the Coastal Empire honors “most generous workplaces” by releasing the top 30 of more than 500 companies and organizations whose employees give to the United Way campaign.
“We want to recognize and highlight our top corporate partners for their generosity to our United Way and the community,” remarked Deb Thompson, President & CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire. “We know it takes all of us coming together to make real, lasting change in people’s lives. We’re grateful that these companies raised their hands and demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our community.”
Gulfstream Aerospace topped the list with $2 million corporate and employee giving to the United Way. Collectively, the top 30 companies and their employees donated more than $5 million of the $8.4 million raised last year to United Way programs serving people in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties.
