Passion and Philanthropic power

United Way Young Leaders brings together the passion and philanthropic power of young professionals in order to improve lives in the Coastal Empire.

Create a positive impact in our community through our group’s involvement in leadership education, professional development, active volunteerism, and philanthropic events.

Membership Criteria

Be 40 years old or younger, and one of the following:

  • Contribute $365 annually to the United Way Community Fund
  • Volunteer 14 hours of service tracked through United Way Volunteers

Ready to Join?

The annual commitment for Young Leaders membership is $365—that is a dollar a day. Or, you can give your time by volunteering with United Way or one of our partner nonprofits for 14 hours. (According to the State of Georgia, 14 hours of a volunteer’s time brings a value of $365 to the recipient.) As a United Way Young Leader, you will participate in meaningful relationships, projects, and social events with other young professionals.
