United Way of the Coastal Empire was founded by leaders of this community over 85 years ago and continues to be volunteer-led. Our mission is simple: to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community so that all people have the opportunity to reach their full potential and families thrive.
United Way has several ways to support the community through impactful initiatives and dedicated funds. The Community Fund, along with other specific funds such as the WOMEN UNITED Transportation Fund, makes lasting impact across the community. These funds provide vital resources that address immediate needs and promote long-term stability.
