Every year, United Way of the Coastal Empire hires passionate individuals to serve as Campaign Ambassadors, temporary team members who build capacity for our fundraising efforts during campaign season. Ambassadors work alongside our Resource Development team from August through November, helping lead workplace campaigns, build relationships with donors, and unlock critical funding that strengthens our community’s safety net.
Made possible through company sponsorship, this role gives United Way the extra support needed to reach more workplaces, engage more donors, and open doors to opportunity so individuals and families across our five-county service region can thrive.
During their term, an Ambassador can fundraise more than ten times the cost of a corporate sponsorship, all while gaining valuable professional development opportunities and skills in teamwork, presenting, and connecting with diverse audiences.
