SAVANNAH, GA (Nov. 27, 2025) – United Way of the Coastal Empire’s 17th annual Turkey Trot, presented by SouthCoast Health, took place this morning and raised more than $60,000 for the United Way Community Fund. The Thanksgiving morning event drew 1,956 participants to Daffin Park, the largest turnout in the race’s history.
Runners and walkers traveled from across the region, 34 states, and six countries to take part in the holiday tradition. As in previous years, many participants dressed in festive, Thanksgiving-themed costumes for the annual costume contest.
The morning began with the Kids K and Diaper Dash and concluded with the 4-mile run/walk, which started in Daffin Park and looped through the Ardsley Park neighborhood. The race concluded back in Daffin Park where race participants then enjoyed chili and a post-race awards ceremony.
