SAVANNAH, GA (September 25, 2024) – United Way of the Coastal Empire is proud to announce Katie Willoughby has joined the executive ranks of United Way of the Coastal Empire as chief financial officer. She grew up in Savannah and returned to serve as the CFO for the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia in 2015, where she served for the past nine years.
“We are thrilled to have Katie join our dynamic and dedicated United Way team,” said Kimberly Waller, president and CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire. “Katie brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise that will build upon the organization’s progress and advance our mission of improving lives throughout the Coastal Empire.”
Willoughby holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University. While living in Washington, DC, she worked for Deloitte Consulting in their federal practice, providing strategy and management consulting to diverse agencies during her tenure. She brings to her work experience in financial management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and non-profit organization management and a passion for providing accessible data to inform decisions at all levels of an organization and among stakeholders.
