“As an organization committed to serving the community, we know how important it is that we provide vital support to our friends and neighbors now more than ever,” said Brynn Grant, United Way of the Coastal Empire President and CEO. “We will do our best to work with our board and volunteer chairs, United Way funded agencies, city and county partners, corporate donors, as well as the philanthropic and business leadership of our region to hold each other and our communities up through the challenge and uncertainty of the days ahead.”

Current Board Chair Toby Moreau added, “While we will not have a physical meeting with the United Way of the Coastal Empire Board of Directors anytime very soon, we will be working critical decisions through our volunteer committee structure and bring any issues necessary to the full board via email or conference call. We will continue to do our best to keep the business of the organization moving forward.”
